Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Matterhorn Venture PartnersScott McKibben is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Matterhorn Venture Partners.
Before founding Matterhorn Venture Partners, Scott was a Co-Founder, CIO, and Managing Principal at Brennan Investment Group, where he oversaw the acquisition, development, and sale of industrial properties across the US, totaling nearly $8 billion in transactions and nearly 80 million square feet in over 30 states. He also was the Co-Founder and CEO of Madison Partners Realty, which purchased and managed over 5 million square feet of office and industrial space in Chicago and Milwaukee. Prior to that Scott as the VP of Acquisitions at Prime Group Realty Trust and was responsible for the acquisition and development of several million square feet of principally office buildings in the Midwest.
Throughout his career, Scott has acquired or developed over $10.4 billion worth of primarily industrial and office properties. He holds a B.S. in Finance from DePaul University, an M.S. in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Scott is licensed as an attorney and as a managing real estate broker in Illinois.
Scott is a board member and co-chair of the Goldie Initiative since 2023, the former president of Well of Mercy's board, and currently on the Metropolitan Housing Corporation board; also active with the University of Wisconsin Real Estate Board and DePaul University Athletic Department.

Principal at Matterhorn Venture Partners
Gary is responsible for sourcing and implementing new acquisitions with focus on powered land, value-add and single-tenant net leased industrial investments. Throughout Gary’s career, he has completed over 36 million square feet of investment sales transactions totaling over $4.0 billion as well as numerous tenant representation and leasing transactions. A few of his notable sale transactions included the 6.2 million square foot, State Farm National Office Sale Leaseback Portfolio as well as the 2.1 million square foot Alter Office and Flex-Industrial Portfolio.
Prior to joining Matterhorn, Gary spent 30 years as an investment sales broker most recently as a Senior Vice President and senior partner in CBRE Chicago Midwest Institutional Properties team. Prior to joining CBRE, Gary served as Managing Director of Transwestern’s Midwest Investment Sales Group which he launched in 1999. Gary served several years on Transwestern’s Board of Directors. Gary began his commercial real estate career at Cushman & Wakefield where his role as a broker started in domestic and international tenant representation, building agency leasing and later, office investment sales.
Gary earned a bachelor’s degree in Geology with a minor in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Gary is a licensed managing real estate broker in Illinois.

Executive Director, Matterhorn Venture Partners
Eduardo Paneque is an Executive Director at Matterhorn Venture Partners, where he leads finance, accounting, and transaction structuring across the firm's investment platform.
Before joining Matterhorn, Ed was a Principal at Brennan Investment Group, where he served as both Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Investment Underwriting. In these roles, he oversaw accounting, treasury, and financial reporting, managed lender and joint venture partner relationships, and led deal structuring and underwriting for acquisitions, dispositions, and development transactions totaling more than $4 billion.
Ed also founded and served as President of EEP Inc., a consulting firm providing accounting and finance services to the real estate industry. Through EEP, he delivered ongoing accounting and treasury support and led due diligence and transaction structuring for more than $2 billion in real estate deals, including UPREIT transactions, 1031 exchanges, and corporate mergers. He also stepped into senior interim leadership roles for his clients, serving as Acting Director of Financial Management for Joint Ventures at a publicly traded industrial REIT and as Acting Treasurer for a publicly traded office and industrial REIT.
Earlier in his career, Ed was part of the executive team that formed First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. He began his career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Illinois CPA Society.

Principal, Co-Founder
Matterhorn Venture PartnersMatt Kay is a Principal and Co-Founder of Matterhorn Venture Partners. In this capacity, Matt is responsible for overseeing the company's investment strategies, investment underwriting and due diligence, and sourcing new acquisition opportunities.
Prior to founding Matterhorn, Matt spent nearly 10 years at Brennan Investment Group, where he served as Vice President and Co-Head of Net Lease Acquisitions. In this role, Matt was responsible for sourcing single tenant net lease opportunities nationwide and overseeing acquisitions, developments, and redevelopments in Michigan. He played a key role in transactions totaling over $3.5 billion and approximately 30 million square feet.
Matt holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and is an active member of NAIOP. Matt is involved with various charitable organizations, including Patient Advisory for the ChadTough Foundation of C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, and a former board member of the Young Associates Board of Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.

Associate, Matterhorn Venture Partners
Sean McKibben is an Associate at Matterhorn Venture Partners in Chicago, IL, where he joined in October 2024. In his role, Sean leverages his extensive experience in financial analysis and real estate to support investment strategies and valuation processes. Previously, as a Financial Consultant & Analyst at CBRE, he was instrumental in underwriting over $600 million in office and flex properties and played a key role in the disposition of more than $150 million in assets. Sean holds a Master’s in Real Estate from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Xavier University. He is proficient in Argus Enterprise and is dedicated to continuous professional development within the real estate sector.

Principal, Co-Founder
Matterhorn Venture PartnersTina Ramos is a Principal and Co-Founder of Matterhorn Venture Partners. In this capacity, Tina is responsible for building MVP’s vast network of capital sources and for creating and implementing business lines that create investment opportunities for MVP’s investors and clients. During her career, Tina has capitalized over $7 billion of real estate in 130 transactions in the Southeast, Midwest, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and California.
Before founding Matterhorn Venture Partners, Tina was the Chief Investment Officer of The Missner Group, an industrial real estate investment platform, where she was responsible for capitalizing investment strategies for infill industrial real estate. She also served as a Senior Vice President of Pacific Coast Capital Partners (PCCP) where she oversaw equity and debt investments for the Central U.S. and managed a separate account for a large public pension fund.
Tina holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Tina loves giving back to her alma mater and serves as a Co-Chair of the Yale College Reunion Giving Committee and as a member the Yale Alumni Schools Committee. She is also an active member of NAIOP and involved in the Chicago-based Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF).

Chief Financial Officer at Matterhorn Venture Partner
Becky is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial, accounting, treasury services, and tax structuring and compliance.
Becky Zitella has over 20 years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Matterhorn Venture Partners, she was Chief Financial Officer for Millbrook Properties where she was also responsible for acquisition due diligence and assisted in leasing and asset management.
Prior to joining Millbrook, Becky worked for Walton Street Capital as both a Controller and Director of Tax. Prior to that, she worked at Deloitte Tax in the lead tax services group. In the decade throughout her real estate career prior to joining Millbrook Properties, Becky successfully structured real estate acquisitions and dispositions, was responsible for overall tax structuring and REIT compliance of various funds, as well as assisting in opening up one of Walton Street’s foreign headquarters.
Becky received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in both Accountancy and Finance. She is a licensed managing real estate broker and a licensed Certified Public Account in Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the AICPA. She is also actively involved with The Goldie Initiative.
